My picture is on the cover! Woohooo! There is also a picture inside that I took in Northside Learning Center :) Happy me.

Huge thanks to Leslie Morris for helping with the shoot in the Learning Center.

Publications

I thought that I'm behind on showing the pix that got published, but I didn't realize how far behind I was!!! All this Christmas shopping, Christmas songs & Christmas everything is in my head & guess what? My head is not that big! Most of the storage is for photography, my family & books. I'm sure when you read it you'll think: omg, I feel the same way. Yes, I know - holidays are fun when you unwrap the presents or give them to others. Figuring out what to buy - not fun. Where was I? Oh yes, pictures.

OK, since my last post about the publications I got 2 covers of Chattanooga Parent Magazine & some misc stuff inside. Here we go.

Love story

What is a love story photoshoot?
It's a story of a relationship. It's more that just pictures. It's more that an engagement photo shoot. It's a story of 2 people who decided to spend the rest of their lives together.

We'll recreate together the day you met, the day you said 'will you be mine?' & the day you made up your mind to be part of a happy family.

I always carefully prepare the props & discuss the location. It's a very fun photoshoot.
Here I will show you the spreads from the book that I made for this young couple.

Folk School of Chattanooga

I had a job assignment for Chattanooga Parent Magazine. I went to Folk School of Chattanooga to take pictures of a music lesson. It was not just an ordinary lesson. I saw 3 beautiful girls. And their mother. And their grandmother. 3 talented generations were playing various musical instruments & I was lucky to listen to them. To tell you the truth, I even sometimes forgot to take pictures!!!

February cover in Chattanooga Parent Magazine!

I was so excited about this photoshoot! We all know, how difficult it is to work with teens. But, guys, you are the best teens in the world! I had so much fun! We did all kinds of silly things.
My favorite picture didn't make it to the cover unfortunately. I was so absorbed in the process of taking pictures that I forgot about the square kind of composition that should go to the cover. people think it's an easy process. What can be easier than buying a camera & start click-click-clicking? Oh well, it's harder than that! Anyway, my favorite picture is this one:

Photos for Chattanooga Parent Magazine. McCallie Private School.

This week I took pictures for Chattanooga Parent Magazine for Stan Corcoran's interview about competitive swimming. Stan is the head swim coach in McCallie School. You know, I was impressed. No, I mean I-W-A-S-I-M-P-R-E-S-S-E-D!!! 4-year-olds can swim better than I do! Watching the swimming lessons & taking pix was so much fun! Of course, everyone tries to cooperate & smiles in the camera & waves their hands :)

The picture that goes first is my favorite.
